Seminole

Let’s Read Seminole! Visit the Big Red Bus Bookmobile. Read and complete the SCPS Summer Reading Initiative log. Turn in the completed log(s) to your school. The bookmobile schedule can be found at www.letsread.scps.k12.fl.us.

Participate in the Barnes & Noble Summer Reading Program (first-sixth grade). Return the completed Reading Journal to a Barnes & Noble bookstore and choose a pre-selected paperback book. Reading Journals can be downloaded at www.barnesandnoble.com/summerreading/index.asp.
Go on a virtual Book Adventure at www.bookadventure.com. The reading motivation program is for grades K-8. Girls create their own book lists from over 7,000 recommended titles, take multiple choice quizzes on the books they've read, and earn points and prizes for their literary success.
Just Read, Families! Provides parents with information about actively reading during the summer months and includes a Recommended Summer Reading List. The Kids Page includes literacy websites. The reading list is available at www.justreadfamilies.org.
TumbleBooks is an online collection of animated talking story books and educational games. Free trial available at www.tumblebooks.com.
