A World of Orchids is considered as the largest indoor display of its type in the world! 22,500 square feet of conservatory with orchids and other tropical plants in various stages of growth.

The Grand Army of the Republic Memorial Hall was built in 1914. This building served as a memorial to Civil War veterans, a meeting hall, and a live performance theatre. Today, this site is one of the best-preserved Grand Army of the Republic halls in the country.

The Columbia County Historical Museum is located in a residence dating from the 1870s. The museum provides both locals and visitors with the opportunity to learn about the history of the Lake City area and Columbia County.
